UTE goalie Dávid Duschek did not allow a goal in the game against Dunaújváros in the only game played on Monday night in the ERSTE Liga.

Dunaújvárosi Acélbikák-UTE 0-1 (0-0, 0-1, 0-0)
This was the battle between two teams who were rigt above each other in the standings. In the first ten minutes of the game night team really had any solid scoring chances. Ladislav Sikorcin had a backhanded shot on a power play that Máté Garbacz stopped. Towards the middle of the period both teams picked up the pace. Franssila had chance on the Dunaújváros side with Stefishen having one for UTE.

Dunaújváros had a power play early in the second period that they could not score on. UTE scored the first goal of the game in the 23rd minute when Stefishen beat Garbacz for the score. DAB killed an UTE power play, but they were not able to score on the two power plays that they had in the remaining part of the second period.

In the third period DAB started to push but Duschek kept the puck out of the UTE net. The closest Dunaújváros came from Gergely Tóth from just outside of the crease, but Duschek stoned him on the chance. In the closing minutes DAB really put pressure on the UTE net, and pulled their goalie in the closing minutes. In the end Duschek picked up the 1-0 shutout win for UTE.

Antti Karhula, head coach DAB: Overall I think this was a good game, we did everything well except score goals. I can not blame the team for the way they played. Both goalies played really well in the game. Our PK worked well except for one time, unfortunately this was enough for UTE to score a goal.

Zoltán Szilassy, head coach, UTE: We had our goalie playing great and this was what was the key to our victory. Getting a shutout win is a great feeling, we picked up three important points.
