UTE-SC Csíkszereda 4-1 (2-1, 1-0, 1-0)
The opening period started off slow but the scoring period picked up later in the period. In the 14th minute of play Peter Huba put in a rebound to make it 1-0. Less than a minute it was Ferenc Kocsis gave the home team a 2-0 lead. Csíkszereda quickly got on the scoreboard as well when Tamás Bíró scored off of a Szilárd Rokaly pass. The second period started off in 4 on 3 hockey in the favor of UTE, who took advantage of it when Taylor Stefishen out in a rebound off of a Huba shot. Csíkszereda pushed in the third period in an effort to get back into the game but Duschek stopped everything. In the closing minutes Lunström was pulled for the extra attacker but in the end Stefishen scored an empty net goal.
