Middle of the table stays tight

Just when it looked like the table is starting to take form the middle of the table has become a tight pack again.

DVTK picked up two wins, they opened the match week with a 6-0 shutout win over the Vienna Capitals, Bence Kiss picked up the shutout win and the six goals were scored by six different goal scorers. Diósgyőr closed out the week with a shootout loss to Újpest, who had been in a bit of a rut. DVTK opened up a 2-0 lead after the first two periods in the game however UTE came back with two goals in the third period as Martin Frolik and Anze Ropret found the back of the net a third import Eric Caládi scored the shootout winner.

Second place MAC had only one game this week which was against the Vienna Capitals. After scoring one goal in the first period MAC pulled away with 4 in the second period, as MAC cruised to a 5-1 win.

Ferencváros and Fehérvár were the two teams that traveled to Transylvania for the long road trip. For the Budapest team the road trip was not the best as they scored two goals in two games. Attila Németh and Csanád Fodor scored for their teams as the score was 1-1after the first period however Alpár Salló and Zsombor Antal scored in the second period as Csíkszereda picked up the win. For the second game Ferencváros played Brasov, Vladimir Dubek scored for Fradi with Mason Wilgosh making it 1-1. The only goal of the second period was scored by Róberto Gliga with Brasov scoring three in the third for the 5-1 win.

Fehérvár had a similar experience as Fradi did with two losses in Transylvania. Brasov won 5-1 as Braden Walls lead all scorers with 2 goals and an assist. Against Csíkszereda the home team won 6-2, Zsombor Antal finished with 2 goals and an assist with Szilárd Rokaly scoring 2 goals as well.

Újpest started the match week off with a game in Dunaújváros who had a great production by Norbert Hári in his first game with his new team. Hári set up two goals for Dunújváros in the 3-1 win.
